Trivia for you: what are the "units" of the Margin for Reference/Hidden Line Calculation. ie: explain, why it may start out 1?

Why will it most times start out less than 1?
Why must you increase the margin greater than 1 to see most or all of the reference part(s)?

The unit of the margin is cm.

You can approximately calculate the default value with the formula below.

Margin (in cm) = 0.1 x View Scale x Bounding box assembly (smallest side) in cm
