In your Inventor installation the Vault and Content Center Log in / out and Connection Options are missing.
In the Add-in Manager list the Content Center and the Vault add-ins are loaded.
But, if you use the command Place from Content Center, in case you are retrieving the Content Center Libraries from the Vault Server, nothing happens.
The Place from Content Center works instead if you use the Inventor Desktop Content Libraries
If you use a Vault project, you have the same problem using the command Place from Vault.
In the Vault browser, you get the tooltip saying that the Vault is not opened
But, if you right-click and select Login from the context menu, nothing happens as well.
In order to restore these functionalities, try the following.
- Menu Tools > Options > Add-Ins.
- Right-click in the Add-ins list and select Shows Hidden Members.
- After that, the EDM Addin should appear in the list.
- Select the checkboxes Loaded/Unloaded and Load Automatically and click OK.
In case the EDM Addin does not appear in the list after selecting the Shows Hidden Members option, try to re-register it following the steps of the technical solution http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=TS13404857
