You have created a view of your frame assembly and you have applied the balloons to the structural shapes displaying the quantity (length).
Considering the average structural shape lengths and that these are expressed in mm, you don’t want to display the decimal zeros in the balloons.
In order to do that you can do the following.
- In the Content Center Editor, copy the Structural Shape Family to a custom library.
- Open from Content Center.
- Open any component from the family with the “As Custom” option.
- Save the file to your local computer.
- Click Tools menu > Document Settings.
- In the Units tab, set the Linear Dim Display precision to “0.” and click on Apply.
- In the Bill of Material tab, re-select the Base Quantity parameter that now should have the desired precision.
- Click Apply and then Close.
- Close and save the file.
- In the Content Center Editor, select the custom library in the Library View field.
- Right-click the family and select Replace Family Template.
- Click Yes in the following dialog, select and open the file saved in the step above.
- Click OK in the “Publish was Successful” dialog box.
You need to repeat the procedure for each Structural Shape Family of which you want to change quantity precision in balloons.
