Cannot create stack text in Inventor 2011 after installing Inventor 2012

You have installed Inventor 2012 on a machine where you have also Inventor 2011.

You start Inventor 2011, open a drawing, create a text, select part of it and click on the stack button, but nothing happens.

 

The problem has been reported to our development that is working for fixing it.

 

In the meantime, in order to use the functionality correctly in Inventor 2011, do the following.

1. Download the Zip file and extract the file reg on your machine.
2. Start Inventor 2011 if you have not done it yet.
3. Double-click on the reg file and accept to add the information to the registry.

After that you will be able to create stack text in Inventor 2011.

 

You need to repeat the steps 2 and 3 above, every time after you have used Inventor 2012 on the machine, you close it and you want to use the stack text functionality in Inventor 2011.
